Alexandros Kokkinakis

Founder & Project Director

Alex inherited the Urban Villa and garden and moved to Megalopoli eleven years ago. The property was abandoned at the time, and with the help of volunteers he gradually restored it—repairing essential infrastructure and transforming the overgrown garden into a living, productive space. As a civil engineer, he brings practical knowledge and long-term vision to the development of The Crossroads.

Pam Duivenvoorden

Co founder, Supportive Director

Pam is responsible for the development of The Crossroads beyond its physical space. She coordinates future plans and projects, partnerships, and outreach, connecting The Crossroads with the wider community and external initiatives. As a chef and head of the garden, she leads cooking projects and activities focused on sustainable gastronomy, linking food, land, and culture while helping spread the values of The Crossroads beyond the project itself.

Micheal Lee

Field manager, Mentor

Mike has been part of The Crossroads long-term and is now a key mentor within the community. He takes care of daily operations and runs the project when Alex and Pam are away. As field manager, he supports practical work and community flow, while also bringing people together through music, quizzes, and shared activities that strengthen everyday life at The Crossroads.

Mimmo

Field manager

Mimmo supports the daily functioning of The Crossroads through a wide range of practical skills. He works with electricity, woodworking, and general maintenance, helping keep the spaces running smoothly. As a field manager, he guides volunteers in hands-on tasks and supports construction, repairs, and ongoing projects across the site.

Caty

Community Cook

Caty takes care of the heart of daily life at The Crossroads: the community kitchen. She cooks for the group, keeps the kitchen organized and clean, and works closely with the garden harvest to plan meals and preserve food. After long days of physical work, she makes sure everyone is well-fed, cared for, and brought together around shared meals.
